Create / Generate Draws

To create a draw, navigate to the Draws page and click the "Add Draw" button in the top right corner. A modal will appear where you can begin configuring the draw.

General settings

Select the category for which you're creating the draw and provide a title for the draw.

Segment

Choose between Main, Consolation, or Qualification segments. Segments are explained here.

Template size

Select a draw size (ranging from 2 to 64).

Format

Select a draw format (single or double elimination). Formats are explained here.

Match for 3rd place

To include it, activate the corresponding checkbox.

Generation option

• From Entries: It will generate the draw based on seeding and sorting in the entry list.

• From Groups: It will generate the draw based on the selected group results.

• From Live Standings: It will generate the draw based on selected live standings.

• From Groups (Manual): It will create a blank draw, but when manually selecting teams, it will show the group and place (if the entry is found in one of the selected groups).

• Manually: It will create a blank draw, and you will be able to manually enter teams from the entries.

Algorithm

• Standard: It will generate the draw according to the standard algorithm, where the first seed is always at the top, the second at the bottom, and the third and fourth are randomly distributed between the top and bottom, continuing in this pattern for subsequent seeds (5th to 8th, and so on).

• Fixed: Positions are predefined based on seeding/sorting. For example, in a draw of size 16, seed 1 will play against seed 16, seed 2 against seed 15, seed 3 against seed 14, and so on.

Additional club-related settings

We provide the option for the referee to enable "Display participants' club in the draw" and "Distribute members of the same club across the draw (where possible)". Select the relevant checkbox(es) and then click "Submit" to generate/create the draw.

Note that if you created the draw manually and have "byes" in the first round(s), you can quickly move teams with no opponents to the next round. To do this, click the "Forward Byes" button located to the left of the "Add Draw" button. Select the draw and the relevant round, and it will automatically move the teams forward.
