Category settings
Fields
Category color: You can set different colors for categories to make it easier to differentiate them in the order of play, especially useful for a bird's-eye view.
Registration limit: If you want to limit the number of participants that can register per category, you can set the limit here. Once the number of confirmed entries or requests is reached, athletes will no longer be able to register for the category.
Payment details: You can adjust the currency and entry fees separately for each category.
Enable consolation: If this option is enabled, it will allow the referee to generate groups and draws for the Consolation segment.
Registration status: You can open/close registration for specific categories. If category disabled, it will be possible to register for the tournament, however this specific category will be disabled.
Entry management settings
MD (Main Draw) entries - indicate number of entries going directly to the Main segment. All entries will be sorted according to rankings or registrate date (if no rankings applied) and participants outside that range woull be assigned to Qualification or Alternative (waiting list) if category doesn't imply having qualification. Leave it as 0 or blank if you want everyone to be assigned with MD segment (status). See example in the bottom of the page to understand the logic.
MD WC (Main Draw Wild Card) entries - indicate max number of entries to which can be assigned WC's. If limit is reached, referee won't be able to assign more WC's. MD WC entries are considered as Main Draw entries, howeverr will be displayed under Main segment entries, unless WC entry gets a seeding position. Leave it as 0 or blank if you don't want to assign WC's.
MD (Main Draw) seeds - indicate number of seeds. Seeded entries will be highlghited across the tournaemnt pages as well as distributed across draw and groups based on selected algorithms. Leave it as 0 or blank if you don't want to have seeds assigned.
For Q (Qualification) entries, Qualification WC's and Qualification seeds applies the same logic as for Main Draw. If you don't plan to have qualification - ignore it.

In this case, if the tournament receives, for example, 40 entries for the category, the platform will assign participants according to their rankings. The highest-ranked 12 entries will be placed in the MD segment, with the top 4 seeded. The next 14 entries will be assigned to the Q segment, with 4 of those receiving separate Q seeding. The remaining 14 entries will be placed in the Alt (Alternative/Waiting list) segment. The organizer or main referee can then assign participants from the Q or Alt segments to the MDWC (up to 4) and from the Alt segment to the Q segment (up to 4). Based on these changes, the entry list will be refreshed.
