# Teams (MLP/Davis Cup-style)

The difference between this and the [standard team format](/tournated/tournated-portals/tournated-manager/tournament-types/teams-standard.md) is that, in this case, the final team results are determined by the singles and doubles matches played by the respective team members.

## Match configuration

To configure team matches, the referee needs to click the **Setup** button (located next to each team vs. team match across draws and groups) and create individual or partial matches by selecting the match type and assigning team members for each side.

To add a match to the order of play, you need to specify its date, time, and court settings.

## Results calculation

Once all singles or matches are completed, click the **"Calculate points and advance team(s) to the next round"** button. This will trigger the corresponding actions, checking all individual matches and assigning points accordingly.
