Adding entry(-ies)
This feature is not commonly used, as participants typically register themselves. However, if it's necessary to add an entry manually, you can do so one at a time via the 'Add Entry' modal.
Alternatively, a batch of entries can be imported using the provided templates, which can be downloaded from the bottom of the 'Import Entries' modal.
During import, it is crucial to include the athletes' actual email addresses, as these will serve as unique identifiers. If the system detects that the email already exists, it will assign the entry to the existing account. Make sure to provide the correct athlete's name, surname, country (3-letter code), gender (M or F), and date of birth (yyyy-mm-dd)
*For pickleball events, it is also possible to include the athlete's DUPR ID during the import.
Display settings
In this section, you can display or hide specific columns and set the sorting method based on their relevance to the event.
Managing entries
Please note that entry management is highly dependent on the tournament category setup (found in Tournated Dashboard -> League Management) as well as the category settings (under Manager -> Category Settings). Be sure to validate all setups, especially if you encounter any issues related to entry management.

Update entries
Most update actions are located in the 'Actions' dropdown (top right corner). Select the relevant entries, click the dropdown, and complete the required action. From there, you can change the entry category, move them back to requests, and perform multiple data refresh actions. If you need to update a single entry, you can do so by clicking the three-dot ('more') icon located in the last column of each entry.
Master update
With the Master Update, it is possible to refresh all required data across multiple categories at once. Simply select the relevant categories and specify the data you want to refresh (rankings, ratings, segmentation, seeding), then click 'Update.' Wait until the script is executed, as it will update a lot of data, including checking third-party integrations that rely on external APIs.
Refresh data
If you need to update specific data (column), simply click the refresh icon next to the column heading, and voilà. Since this action only checks a specific column in one category, it will be much faster than updating data via the Master Update.
Assign Wild Card (WC) or Lucky Loose (LL)
According to the category settings, you can identify WC's (Wild Cards) and LL's (Lucky Losers). This can be done by clicking the three-dot ('more') button located to the right of the entry (in the last column). If the action is disabled, it means the limit has been reached or the entry is not eligible for the 'upgrade.'
Withdraw or Delete entry
In the same three-dot ('more') section, you can withdraw or delete an entry. Please note, if you click 'Withdraw,' the entry will be moved to withdrawals (and it won't affect existing matches). However, if you click 'Delete,' the entry will be removed from both the entries and the matches.
Control payments
In the 'Paid' column, you can see the total amount collected for this particular category. Click the info icon next to the title to check the distribution based on payment methods. If you want to assign the paid amount to an entry manually, click the 'Not Paid' button, enter the amount, and select the payment method.
