# Buy a licence / membership

Many organizations require athletes to purchase a license or membership to be eligible for event registration or discounts. This license can be bought on the **Get a License** page.

To purchase a license, an athlete must be logged into their profile.

By obtaining a license, the athlete agrees to the organization's terms and conditions (as the license owner) and grants access to their personal data.

### The license purchase process is straightforward:

1. Go to the Get a licence page.
2. Select the license type and duration.
3. Enter a promo code (if applicable).
4. Complete the payment.

If the organization allows renewals or extensions, you can repurchase the license, which will extend its validity.

You can view your license purchase history in the designated table.
