What payment methods are available for tournament registration?

Payment options may vary depending on the tournament and organizer settings.

In general, there are two main payment types:

1. Online payment (via Stripe)

Some tournaments require online payment during registration.

Please note that, in addition to the entry fee, a service fee will be added.

In this case:

  • You will be redirected to a secure payment page.

  • Payment is processed via Stripe.

  • You can pay using a credit or debit card (and other methods supported by Stripe in your region).

After successful payment:

  • Your registration will be confirmed automatically (or manually approved by the organizer).

If payment fails:

  • Check that your card is enabled for online payments.

  • Verify available balance or limits.

2. Pay on-site (payment at the tournament venue)

Some tournaments allow players to register without immediate online payment.

In this case:

  • You complete registration on the platform.

  • Your status may appear as Confirmed or Pending (depending on organizer settings).

  • The entry fee is paid directly to the organizer at the venue.

Important: Even if payment is made on-site, registration must still be completed through the platform before the deadline.

I withdrew from a tournament. When will I receive my refund?

Tournated provides the registration platform, but refund decisions and processing are managed entirely by the event organizer.

If you have withdrawn from a tournament and are expecting a refund:

  • Please allow the organizer a reasonable time to process the request.

  • Refund timelines may vary depending on the organizer’s internal policies and banking procedures.

  • Each tournament may have its own cancellation and refund rules.

If you have not received your refund within a reasonable period of time, we recommend contacting the tournament organizer directly to clarify the status of your refund.

To find the organizer’s contact details:

  1. Click on the event’s league/tour.

  1. Go to the Contacts tab.

If you experience technical issues related to your registration or payment confirmation, you are welcome to contact Tournated support at support@tournated.com for assistance.
